“…even when we have nothing left, there’s always a song, there’s always music, words, and dance steps, to bring us back to life, to bring us together, and to provide hope.”

Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada

Past Projects

The Vigour Projects Health Music grant will be seeded with a $1000 grant from Vigour Projects. The grant will be given to one selected public secondary school located in a high cardiovascular risk neigbourhood in York region. The neighbourhood will be identified through public sources. For example, the highest rate of diabetes is in the Central West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). The money will be used to support an after-school music program where the students will compose next year’s Meatless Music 4 Mondays theme song. Learn more
